Joel is an accomplished jazz guitarist who currently plays and records as bandleader and accompanist for singer/songwriter and film and television actress, Rebecca Jenkins, who is also his wife.

IN 2014 – Rebecca and Joel released their third album (Jazz) together entitled:
“Rebecca Jenkins and Her Trio, Live at the Cellar”
IN 2012 – Rebecca and Joel released their second album (original songs modern folk) entitled: “Somethings Coming”
IN 2007 – Rebecca and Joel released a jazz album entitled: “Blue Skies”.

Joel recently played at Cory Weeds Jazz Cellar in Vancouver with a quartet that included his fourteen year old son Myim on drums as well as Alan Matheson (piano/trumpet – www.alanmatheson.com) and Bruce Meikle (bass).
